Category D firearms licence

We hold a NSW Category D firearms licence. Category D is a restricted licence category that is only issued for limited purposes, including professional pest animal control.

For security, licence numbers are not published on this website.

Humane shooting code of practice

All work follows the Code of Practice for the Humane Shooting of Pest Animals in NSW. That means clear identification of every animal, suitable equipment for the species, and working to minimise suffering.

Native species are never targeted

We never target native animals. Native wildlife in NSW is protected by law, including the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 (NSW) and the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 (NSW). Thermal imaging and careful identification help us work around native wildlife on every job.

NSW firearms laws

We comply with NSW firearms laws, including the Firearms Act 1996 (NSW), covering how firearms are stored, transported and used.

Site risk assessment

Every job starts with a site risk assessment covering boundaries, houses, roads, stock, neighbours, people who may be on the property and native wildlife areas. It decides where and when it is safe to work.

No unauthorised people on site

While we are working, no unauthorised people are allowed on site. We agree this with you beforehand, including any workers, visitors or neighbours who may be nearby.

$10M public liability insurance

We carry $10 million public liability insurance.

Written agreement

Before any work starts, we agree a written plan with you covering what we will do, where, when and how. After each visit you get a report.
